The Clemson Tigers are poised for a bounce-back season in 2026.
That is the opinion of USA TODAY Sports activities’ veteran faculty soccer analyst Paul Myerberg, who logged his ultimate win-loss prediction for each ACC workforce within the common season.
With simply eight days remaining till the Tigers’ season opener, Myerberg sees Clemson enhancing its 7-6 total report from a season in the past. He predicts Dabo Swinney’s workforce will shut the common season 9-3.
Within the ultimate ACC standings race, Myerberg believes Clemson will end tied with the SMU Mustangs for the second-best total report within the league and can shut with a 6-2 mark in convention play that will probably be good for third.
The Miami Hurricanes, as with most preseason projections, had been predicted to win the ACC. USA TODAY Sports activities predicts Miami will end 10-2 total with an 8-1 mark in convention play.
Myerberg mentioned of the ACC race:
“Miami is the no-doubt workforce to beat within the ACC, although SMU and possibly even Clemson might spoil the try of the Hurricanes to win the convention for the primary time.”
Virginia Tech is one other workforce USA TODAY Sports activities expects to be on the rise and to make an “quick soar” below first-year head coach James Franklin.
