Former Workforce USA triathlete dies in obvious drowning on household trip

SHELTER ISLAND, N.Y. —

A former Workforce USA triathlete was discovered useless following a swim on a household trip.

Spencer Korwin, 38, a father of two, was discovered useless Sept. 2 after he went lacking off New York’s Shelter Island after going out for a swim.

His physique was discovered underneath a dock on the Pridwin Lodge on Lengthy Island following an hours-long search, in keeping with native authorities.

Korwin represented the USA on the 2012 Triathlon World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand.
