Florida State soccer is again above .500 after a record-breaking 38-7 win over Virginia, during which Ashton Daniels broke the file for quarterback speeding touchdowns with 5, scoring all 5 of their touchdowns on the day.
After the win, Paul Myerberg of USA TODAY Sports activities moved Florida State as much as No. 49 in his weekly re-rank of all 138 FBS groups. He moved them up 12 spots from final week’s rankings.
Surrounding the Seminoles are the No. 48 Kansas State Wildcats and No. 50 Memphis Tigers. The Wildcats are 3-1 general and 0-1 in Large 12 play. Memphis is 4-1 general and 1-0 within the American.
Florida State is now the seventh-best ACC staff per Myerberg’s rankings, with Virginia Tech being the closest above them at No. 32. The Miami Hurricanes are the highest-ranked ACC staff at No. 4.
FSU will look to proceed this streak of constructive momentum after they tackle the Louisville Cardinals – a staff they haven’t confronted on the street since 2022 – on Friday at 7 p.m. ET. The sport will air on ESPN.
