MIAMI — FIU’s softball program, along with Convention USA (CUSA), introduced its 2027 dates and opponents for convention play on Wednesday. 

The Panthers, below the route of first-year head coach Olivia Watkins, can have 27 video games in CUSA play in 2027, 5 highway three-game collection and 4 residence three-game units at Baptist Well being Stadium. All collection will likely be Friday-Sunday with one sport every day aside from the Easter weekend collection and the ultimate three-game collection of the season, of which is able to each go Thursday-Saturday. 

FIU will embark on its 2027 CUSA marketing campaign following a standout 16-win season in convention play in 2026. The 2026 Panthers certified for the CUSA Event for the primary time since 2023 and gained 5 collection in CUSA play. FIU returns a core group that options All-CUSA performer Leah Clark, standout pitcher J’dah Girigorie and shortstop Zamya McBurrows.
